Build OneGeorgia:

Georgia’s Statewide Entertainment Tourism Platform

ETAG is seeking a development team to bring the OneGeorgia app to life

Who/What is ETAG?

The Entertainment Tourism Alliance of Georgia (ETAG) exists to educate, advocate, and promote tourism and economic development associated with the entertainment industry in the State of Georgia.

Three Primary Initiatives

             1. Support and develop the most efficient and effective collection of entertainment tourism data.

             2. Support the entertainment industry workforce development with a focus on the tourism and hospitality industry.

             3. Optimize and support future entertainment tourism opportunities.

What Is OneGeorgia?

OneGeorgia (nicknamed OneGA) is a free, web-based discovery platform that puts Georgia’s entertainment destinations on the map... literally. Visitors, fans, and travelers can find film locations, music landmarks, esports venues, gaming attractions, and entertainment events across all 159 Georgia counties, all in one place.

For counties and municipalities, OneGA is a direct line to visitors who are already motivated to travel for entertainment. There’s no app to download, no account required to browse, and no cost to visitors. Counties control their own listings and keep their own identity — OneGA just makes sure people can find them.

What Will the App Do?

Here’s what travelers and counties can expect from Phase 1 of OneGA:

  • Discover entertainment across Georgia: Search by geography, category, or production title. Find where your favorite film was shot, which venues shaped Georgia’s music history, or what’s happening near you this weekend.

  • Film, Music, Esports & Gaming — all in one place: Four entertainment categories, one platform. Each searchable by county, region, or specific production, artist, or event.

  • Location-first, always on: Permanent attractions (film sites, walks of fame, statues, historic landmarks...) are the backbone of the platform. Events and live programming layer on top to keep things fresh.

  • County-controlled content: Every participating county manages its own listings through a simple web portal. No technical expertise required. ETAG sets the standards; counties tell their story.

  • Georgia Grown, built in: Certified Georgia Grown businesses open to the public get a special badge and are searchable as a category, connecting entertainment tourism with Georgia’s local economy.

  • Built for visitors everywhere: No app store. No download. No account required to browse. OneGA works on any smartphone browser, making it accessible to domestic and international visitors alike.

  • Data that matters: Passive, privacy-respecting visitor insights help counties and ETAG understand who’s traveling, where they’re going, and how entertainment drives tourism across the state.

Who Is This RFP For?

We’re looking for development teams with experience building location-based discovery platforms, civic or DMO-facing web applications, or comparable consumer-facing map and content tools. AI-assisted development and lean teams are welcome; what matters is demonstrated ability to deliver, strong data architecture thinking, and a clear plan for long-term support.
